As anyone that travels to Darboy, Kimberly, or Kaukauna knows the 441 / 10 Interchange, and the bridge over Little Lake Butte des Morts.
It is crucial to the safe travel of thousands of vehicles daily, getting to those municipalities for work, school, or anything else. Since the expansion project has begun on this crucial part of the Fox Valley, MCC Inc. has poured thousands of cubic yards of concrete for flyovers, overpasses, and most importantly the first section of the mammoth bridge.
As you are traveling next year, look for MCC Inc.’s mixers beginning to pour the other half of the new bridge. Just in the bridge alone, there will be over 30,000 cubic yards of concrete to build the structure; and to give some perspective, each ready mix truck will come loaded with around 9 yards of concrete. So if you do the math you will know about how many truck trips it will take to build this enormous structure!
